Jane was a crucial role in Kate’s early career and teenage years, training Kate when she very first started eventing from a livery yard she ran alongside Debbie Scott, near Guildford. It was Jane’s connections that sent Kate up to train with Nigel and Ann Taylor, resulting in Kate’s riding job at Washbrook Farm and the development of Dassett Eventing just down the road over the coming years! Jane’s son Joe, has been based with Dassett Eventing for several years now, and in the autumn of 2022 we were delighted to welcome Jane to the Midlands area. The Dassett team has significantly benefited from her help and expertise ever since, and are looking forward to working with Jane over the coming years, as she helps in all aspects of the business.
