Working Pupil
Ivy has joined Dassett Eventing for the 2025 season. At 19 years old, Ivy is currently competing at 3*L level. She grew up in Norfolk and learned to ride at a local riding school and continuing through pony club, British Eventing and then falling in love with the sport. She has since worked with horses while following her eventing dream.
Ivy spent a year working for Eliza Bell (nèe Stoddart) as her working pupil/rider whilst Eliza was pregnant. She also spent a month in Germany working for and training with Dirk Schrade, which established a greater understanding of producing young horses correctly and classically. She now looks to gain more experience working at Dassett Eventing while having and training her own horses here at our base. Ultimately, Ivy aims to eventually set up on her own and be competitive at the top level of the sport.
We are really excited to have Ivy on board for the 2025 season, her positive and committed attitude coupled with her calm confidence around the horses is sure to be an asset to the team.
