This proper little horse is talented in all 3 phases and is adored by Lauren! He qualified for the 4YO Championships in 2010, where he finished 13th. 2011 got off to a fantastic start at BE100 level, always finishing in the top 8, including a win, qualified for the 5YO Championships, where he put in a respectable performance, and was placed in his first few Novices. As a 6 year old, Benny picked up superb Novice form, easily upgraded to Intermediate level, and rounded off an excellent season with a double clear at the National 6YO Championships. After securing a place on the World Class Equine Pathway programme, Benny has won and placed at Intermediate level, had a top 3 placings at CCI* and CIC2* level, placed 6th at a CCI2* and easily upgraded to Advanced level. In 2017 Benny was campaigned on the Junior scene with one of our apprentices, Finley Atherton, during Kate’s pregnancy. Finley and Benny worked towards some OIU21 and 1* events in the spring of 2018, before Kate took back the reins in the autumn. Benny has now been sold and we wish him all the best in his new home.
