Having been bought as a 4yo, this stunning horse is a real eye catcher and has proved himself exceptionally competitive in all that he has done.
Rocky is an absolute pleasure to sit on with such elastic movement and jump. He is exceptional in all three phases. He is consistently in lead after the dressage, is super careful from any take off distance and proven himself to be incredibly straight and bold cross country, always looking for the next jump with his ears firmly pricked!
Having consistently placed at BE100 level and BYEH classes in 2019, Rocky won his last three BE100 classes, including a Young Horse Championship qualifier. He put in a class performance around his first Novice last autumn, before going on to gain a podium finish at the National 5YO championships, placing a very impressive 3rd! He placed in his only event before the 2020 Covid-19 restrictions and went on to have a great season jumping clears round some very decent Novice tracks and placing along the way, including a 3rd place to round off 2020.
Rocky is perfectly set up to become one of the most competitive 7 year olds on the circuit for 2021. He placed in his first event of the year and won his first international, the very competitive CCI-S2* at Cirencester this spring, and stepped up to Intermediate level effortlessly before being sold to continue his career. We can not wait to see what the future holds for this exciting horse…!
