Kate was privileged to be invited to speak at the Teagasc National Equine Conference last November. As the first non-Irish speaker invited to this conference, Kate was delighted to be seated alongside long term friend and leading Irish horse dealer, Richard Sheane of Cooley Farm, and top Irish vet, Marcus Swail of Equivet Ireland. This conference specifically considered the present environment that Irish Sports Horses breeders and producers are currently operating in, and examines the obstacles and opportunities that are available to them.
In this video Kate discusses what she looks for in an Irish Sports Horse and why she feels that this breed is ideal for the job of eventing.
