On Tuesday this week, Amelia headed to Homme House in Hereford, where she and Hawthornstud Dassett contested the 5yo BE100 class. They had a fantastic day, and finished up in third place, meaning a direct qualification for the five-year-old national championships at Osberton later in the season!
‘Lexi’ started the day off well, scoring 29 in the dressage after a lovely test. She then jumped a fantastic double clear, coming home easily inside the time to add nothing to her dressage score. In her last five-year-old class she narrowly missed out on a qualification after coming fourth, and so we were delighted that she managed it this time.
This cracking mare has been incredible this season, with plenty of double clears and placings. We’re all looking forward to seeing her at the championships, where she is sure to show off what a classy young horse she is!
